Club member Scott Murray completed the Fred Whitton last Sunday, and clocked a very respectable time of 6:59:17.

The Fred Whitton Challenge consists of a 112 miles & 11,000 feet of climbing around the Lake District, starting at Grasmere the route takes in climbs of Kirkstone, Honister, Newlands, Whinlatter, Hardknott & Wrynose passes with up to 30% gradients.

The ballot opens next January for any ABC members that are keen!
