Summer Series – Whigstreet – Final Round Results

A slightly blustery night greeted us up at Whigstreet for the APR event. Thankfully the rain held off after it probably used up it’s quota earlier in the day.

We had a smashing turnout with 34 riders making the start line for what was our last Summer Series event of the year. All very sad, tear in the eye and all that. However all good things must come to an end (actually we do have the Nick Hardy Road Race, we’ll need your help, the SXC MTB and Winter Duathlon Series still to come in 2015).

The series has been a great success this season with a fantastic turnout from club members and distinguished guests on a regular basis. Good support also from the sidelines with various support present on the nights! People complaining of being injured, bad backs, crocked bikes and the like. We’ve all issued those very words at some point.

Hats off to our guest Rob from Harrogate Nova, who was in the area on holiday, great to have you along.
