Monikie Winter Series – Duathlon – 1st Round

Quick update on the recent first round of the Monikie Winter Duathlon Series.

The milder weather helped us avoid a frost this year though there was a very stiff wind out on the bike course particularly on the road to the mast.

Angus Bike Chain had a good show at the event with RG McLean storming the bike leg to win the 4k 20k race in 50:39, Peter Flick finished in 4th with a time of 53:41.

2nd and 3rd place went to Andrew Williams and Robert Harrison respectively.
