Hawks Runners v Cyclists

In favourable conditions for the cyclists they stormed to victory in the annual runners v cyclists event at Caird Park last Sunday.

Angus Bike Chain had a strong show with 4 of the first 6 places.

Paul Cooper stormed to the win in a very fast time of 19:33, Peter Flick was 4th in 21:35, 5th was Neil Scott in 22:00 and 6th was Colin Murray in 22:03.

Thistle made up first and second with Barry Wilson and Neil Scott.

David Miller (31st – 30:09) and RG McLean (DNF) competed as runners.

No doubt we will be back through the bog next year!
