In case anyone has missed it elsewhere, next year’s entertainment is open for entries. Maximum field of 80, over 70 entries already in, including a good number of ABCCC riders, which is great. Anyone else interested, please enter asap.

I will be doing an “orgainser’s / helpers’ ride” the weekend before for anyone who wants to do the ride and is able to help us over the weekend of the event. Please get in touch if you might fancy this, or if you think you might be able to help out over the weekend of the event itself without the fun of 300 hilly kilometers.

This has become recognised as one of the UK’s Classic audaxes, and it’s a great opportunity to showcase what a great club we are! It wouldn’t happen without your support.

LAST CALL FOR ENTRIES: entries close on Sunday. We are again massively over-subscribed but you will get a place provided you enter by Sunday, after which entries will be closed. No exceptions.

I’ve just emailed everyone who has entered the event. If you have entered but can’t manage on the day, I’ll be doing an “organiser’s ride” the week before, on Sat 31 May, and you’d be welcome to join that. If you want to help out on the day of the event and do the organiser’s ride, I’ll refund your entry fee! For anyone who isn’t planning on riding, we will still be looking for people to help over the weekend of the event, more info nearer the time. Thanks.

Sorry Alex, I’ll be well on my way to Bourg D’Oisans for a week of rather mountainous cycling on the day of the event. I should be free to join you on organisers ride though. Last minute cramming for The Galibier et al.
